44 mm diameter x 11.5 mm thickness 904L stainless steel case with black DLC coating, domed sapphire crystal with sapphire caseback, water-resistant to 30 m. No traditional dial-time is read via skeletonized hands with laser-engraved hour markers on the underside of the crystal. The fully inverted movement, Calibre 9018, is on full display, built around a double barrel system driving two independent gear trains, each equipped with its own constant-force remontoire. At the heart sits a mirrored chronometer escapement with central impulses-delivering energy directly from the barrel to the balance with extraordinary precision. The hand-wound movement runs at 3 Hz and holds a 38-hour power reserve. Featuring a variable inertia balance wheel and Breguet overcoil, it includes 46 jewels and 220 components in total. Released as part of the Cartier Privé collection, this edition reintroduces a distinctive 1928 design feature, blending Cartier’s classic elegance with modern minimalism. The watch is in a platinum PT950 case in 37.6mm by 24.8mm with a thickness of 6mm, featuring a unique digital display for the jumping hour and minutes visible through windows on the dial. Each hour and minute aperture is hand finished. The mechanism is driven by the manually wound 9755MC movement, which provides a 38-hour power reserve and operates at a frequency of 4 Hz (28,800 vibrations/hour).
