The case is in Platinum / Titanium 41mm. Movement is automatic Caliber 5133, the thickness of this movement is at 2.89mm which is a world record of the thickness. Two patents are new to this watch – No: 1 the end of the month cam is integrated to the day of the month wheel, standing now at the same level as the wheel. No2: the end of the month cam is integrated to the month wheel, standing now at the same level as the wheel, this allows to have the movement with less thickness. Power reserve at 40hours. 18k white gold case in 39mm. Manual wind movement with direct impulse escapement and two escape wheels; German silver and titanium base plate and bridges with decoration by Unryuan studio; gold wheels. Mr Tatsuo Kitamura lacquer artists created the dial lacquer works, another half of the landscape is created by Anita Porchet, one of the greatest enamel artist. Vineyard with rich colors is made with email cloisonne techniques. It shows vineyard on his full beauty, grapes fulfilled in enjoyable colors. Case is in 38mm in 18k rose gold. The hour is displayed by the 3 dimensional dial which comprised of 12 flowers, at each hour; on the hour, the flowers will blossom and close, and you must count the opened flowers to tell the time. Minutes is shown on the side of the case.  There are 166 components set in motion just on the dial by the automatic movement with a module that was fully developed by the maison’s craftsmen. The butterflies, the petals all adorn the expertise in miniature painting, the branches sculpted in gold and the clouds are done in MOP. The display case back shows the movement with a winding rotor that is decorated with enamelling and guilloche. The whole movement is comprise of 533 components Limited Production Priced at 243,000CHF

This project took 5 years to develop from scratch, the movement has 514 components at JUST 8.7mm! More impressive is that it has a 3 weeks power reserve (6 barrels). Perpetual calendar, age of moon, sun rise sun set, running equation of time, tide level, sun earth moon conjunction, celestial chart, Tourbillon just to name a few. This is a jaw dropping piece and I was totally impressed by its size 45mm in 18k white gold. Unique Piece. Besides all that advanced technical achievements, this watch has won the GPHG2017 Mechanical Exception Watch Prize.

Romain Gauthier Logical One was launched in 2013, this one is a 18k white gold (2015) with a 43mm diameter. Movement is wound by a push-button with innovative chain-and-fusee style constant force system, 46hrs power reserve. The movement is in 4.5N rose gold treated. The Logical One was the winner for the Best Men’s Complication of 2013 Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève. Priced at 125,000CHF
