Taking its place in the series of special watches that was inaugurated in 2016 with the Swiss Alp Watch and the Swiss Mad Watch in 2017. Steel case in 43mm. Automatic Tourbillon HMC 804 Manufacture calibre, with 3 days power reserve. Unique piece. Price : the watch will be auctioned off after the SIHH. Proceeds will be donated to the Fondation pour la Culture Horlogère Suisse (Foundation for Swiss Watchmaking Culture).
This very first version of the “1740” embodies his personal vision of Fine Watchmaking. The “1740” encapsulates David’s talent, his ideas and his artistic and technical sensitivity. Innovative a piece, it combines 3 patents and 8 design registrations. Named “1740” in memory of the year when the presence of a watchmaker was notified for the first time ever in the Vallée de Joux, this timepiece embodies the maxim “The Heart and the Spirit”. Stainless steel case in 43.5mm, the watch features a manual winding 30 degree inclined tourbillon, big centre seconds hand, power reserve indicator at 12 o’clock.
