To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the caliber 9S, Grand Seiko has released the Blue Ceramic Hi-Beat GMT Limited Edition. Case is in Seiko’s High Intensity titanium, treated with an anodic oxidation process that turns it blue in 46.4mm. Automatic Hi-Beat movement caliber 9S86with Grand Seiko “Special” standard of a precision of +4 to -2 seconds per day. Power reserve at 55hours. Limited to 350pcs. Priced at US$14,800.00

Grade 5 titanium DLC treated case in 41mm with a thickness of 15.2mm, sapphire crystal with display case back, water resistance to 100m. Brand new TH81-00 split-seconds integrated column wheel hi-beat chronograph movement, developed in collaboration with Vaucher Manufacture Fleurier. It’s based on the calibre Seed VMF 6710. This automatic movement operates at 36,000 vibrations per hour. The movement is notable for its use of titanium components.

The watch is one of Hermes’ rare grand complications; an all new hand-wound Calibre H1926, with a central triple-axis tourbillon and a minute repeater, running on a 5Hz balance. The movement is an extensive development by Le Cercle des Horlogers. Technically complicated but also keeping its elegance, emphasizing Hermès’s rich equestrian heritage, the watch dial and movement details nod to the Duc Attelé carriage, marrying technical mastery with thematic elegance. And if you take a deeper look at the movement construction, you can see it mimic a horse and carriage, and when the minute repeater is activated, the horse will move.

18k gold case 38x45mm. This watch was Andy Warhol’s Collection. Beta 21 quartz movement. The Beta 21 quartz movement is an electronic movement used in wristwatches. Developed in the late 1960s by the Swiss consortium CEH, it features a high-frequency quartz crystal oscillator (8192 Hz) for enhanced accuracy. While it had a limited production run, the Beta 21 movement played a crucial role in the advancement of quartz watch technology, marking the start of the industry’s quartz revolution.
