Cased in stainless steel with a fully polished finish, 39mm diameter with 10.3mm thickness, stepped bezel, screw-down caseback, and an onion-style crown engraved with the letter “K”. Water resistance to 50m. The dial features a frosted, two-part design, silvered and rhodium-plated. It includes a rhodium-plated chapter ring on the top dial, with a lower dial displaying the hours in three sections. The steel hands are tempered blue, with the minute hand bearing an infinity symbol and a three-arm hour hand. An applied “Kudoke” plaque adorns the dial. The movement is the hand-wound Kudoke Kaliber 1, based on the Habring2 calibre. It features a hand-engraved balance bridge, reaming finishing on the full bridge, hand-polished convex edges, and hand-blued screws. The movement has a 46-hour power reserve, operates at 28,800 vibrations per hour, and includes a hand-engraved nameplate with 18 jewels. Winner of GPHG 2024 “Petite Aiguille” prize watch. This was Japan’s first diver’s watch. It was an automatic 150m Diver’s. The launch of this model marked the start of Seiko’s pursuit for ever greater reliability and safety. In 1966, the watch proved its reliability and precision on the 8th Japanese Antarctic Research Expedition. The 6217-8000/1, which is better known as the Seiko 62MAS (autoMAtic Selfdater)Stainless steel case at 37mm. It featured a date function, a bi-directional bezel, stronger luminosity on the hands and indexes, and a big crown. It has a screw down case back but non-screw down crown. The Seiko 62MAS was rated to 150M of water resistance. While this doesn’t seem like a lot by today’s standard, it was Seiko’s deepest rating at the time (prior watch was rated only to 50M). The 6217-8000/1 caliber is a 18,000bph automatic, non hacking seconds with quick set date.
Produced by the Micro Artist Studio at the Shiojiri, Nagano facility. This is a decimal repeater that strikes on demand – for every hour, every 10-minutes and every minute. It also uses Myochin steel as the material for the gong (same steel used in traditional Japanese wind chimes). 18k pink gold case in 42.8 mm. The Gangreserve was issued in 2005 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the founding of Chronometerwerke Hamburg. Chronometerwerke Hamburg GmbH was founded in 1905 by seven prominent Hamburg shipbuilding firms to design and manufacture high precision nautical chronometers. The company was purchased in 1938 by Herbert Wempe and the name was changed to Wempe Chronometerwerke. During the second World War, Wempe Chronometerwerke collaborated with A. Lange & Söhne to produce standard chronometers for the German navy. In 2005, eleven watch companies issued limited editions to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the original company, with all the LEs being sold exclusively through Wempe. This particular model was produced; 100pcs in yellow gold, 100pcs in Platinum and 25 pcs in rose gold. Automatic Lange Cal. L921.6, the superlative Sax-0-Mat movement with zero seconds reset. 343 parts, 42 jewels, and a gold rotor with platinum edge. The Sax-0-Mat beats at 21,600 vph, with a power reserve of 48 hours.
