In 2025, Bulgari launched the Octo Finissimo Ultra Tourbillon, setting a new world record for the thinnest tourbillon watch at just 1.85mm thick. This remarkable achievement surpassed the previous record held by Piaget’s Altiplano Ultimate Concept Tourbillon, which was 2mm thick. The Octo Finissimo Ultra Tourbillon is powered by the BVF 900 calibre, a manually wound movement that operates at 28,800 vibrations per hour and offers a 42-hour power reserve.
This tourbillon is not just a technical marvel but also a design spectacle. Its case, crafted from titanium, integrates the movement directly, eliminating the need for a separate case back, which contributes to its ultra-thin profile. The movement itself is skeletonized, enhancing its visual appeal and emphasizing the intricacy of its construction. This timepiece is limited to only 20 pieces, priced at EUR 750,000 each, reflecting its exclusivity and innovation
