  • Hamilton Khaki Aviation Converter was launched in 2020, here we have an updated version in blue dial.
  • 42mm case in stainless steel.
  • It comes in either with a calf strap or a steel bracelet.
  • The main feature on the watch is the slide rule bezel, which can be considered as a “flight computer” or “logarithmic bezel”.
  • The slide rule is a mechanical analogue device, used to perform multiplication and division, it can also calculate exponents, roots or logarithms; pilots uses the slide rule in combination with the watch to calculate speed, fuel consumption, distance, rate of climb, descent and flight time.
  • It is an essential tool for the pilots back in the days, but still a great compliment or back up for today’s pilots.

Longines Avigation BigEye Chronograph (2017)

Longines has an important role in making chronographe for aviation since the early 20th century. The Charles Lindbergh or WWII pilot watches; or from the first monopusher to the first flyback; these are all significant achievements by Longines. The Avigation BigEye has been modelled after an early-1970s watch made for military aviators. The oversized minute counter, explaining its name “BigEye”. Made in stainless steel, at 41mm. Movement is the Longines Calibre L688 which is based on the 7750 with heavy modifications. Automatic winding with column wheel, power reserve at 54hours. Rolex GMT-Master (1960s)

The Rolex GMT-Master watch was originally designed in collaboration with Pan American Airways and issued by the airline to their crews on long-haul flights. The original GMT Master watch has a 24-hour display fourth hand complicationdirectly linked to and displaying the same time zone as the standard 12-hour hand. This GMT hand enabled the crews to set the watch to GMT or another time zone, and using the rotatable 24-hour scale bezel set to the correct offset a second time zone could be read. GMT or UTC is the time zone that is required for all aviation planning, weather forecasts, schedules and other paperwork.
