In physics, resonance is a phenomenon in which a vibrating system or external force drives another system to oscillate with greater amplitude at specific frequencies. The Armin Strom Mirrored Force takes advantage of this physics phenomenon and made two resonating balances to offer better stability of rate and higher precision, because two oscillators will tend to reinforce each other. It comprises two pairs of tourbillons, each with one inside the other. Each pair of tourbillons contains 128 components but weighs just 1.17g.
