He dreams of taking it to the Bonneville Salt Flats to see how fast it will go. By the early 1960s, heart disease threatens his life, so he mortgages his house and takes a boat to Los Angeles, buys an old car, builds a makeshift trailer, gets the Indian through customs, and heads for Utah. Despite many set backs, Munro finally sets the land speed world record at Utah’s Bonneville Salt Flats in 1967. Stainless steel case in 44mm. Limited to 1967 pieces. Priced at USD 3,750.00

2018 marks the 35th anniversary for Casio G-Shock; back in April of 1983, the first G-Shock (DW-5000C) was introduced. And over the course of 35 years, many new technologies were implemented into the G-Shock. Here, we have one of the anniversary edition in Full metal with Gold Ion Plated; (ref : GMW-B5000TFG-9), with smartphone link, radio controlled time accuracy and also using the Tough Solar system to charge the battery. Numerous features on this watch including automatic time adjustment – world time, reminder, alarm, chronograph, time and place log, phone finder, 20 bar water resistance. With a Bluetooth connection to a smartphone, the watch can automatically sync with internet time servers 4 times a day and automatically update daylight saving time and time zones. A reminder application provides flash alerts for up to five dates. The phone finder function will locate a missing phone (assuming it is still connected via Bluetooth). The time and place feature functions like a flight log and records the time and location points (longitude/latitude coordinates) with the press of a watch button, then displays the log data on a map in the smartphone app. Supported mobile phones include iOS 10 or higher and Android 6.0 or higher. Full metal case with gold ion plated in 49.3 x 43.2 x 13.0 mm (which is identical to the original from 1983). Limited production. Priced at USD$600.00
