From Jean Claude Biver personal collection. 18k pink gold case in 35mm. The 1518 was the first perpetual calendar chronograph wrist watch ever produced in a series (1941). Only 281 pieces were made until 1954. This watch is up for auction at at Phillips on June 27/28 2020 in Geneva. Estimate 1,200,000 – 2,400,000CHF

The case is in grade 5 titanium, that can be mirror polished; in 44mm. The movement for the MB&F LM Perpetual Titanium was developed in-house as an integrated perpetual calendar by Stephen McDonnell. The manual wound movement composed of 581 parts, is composed of double mainspring barrels, unique 14 mm balance wheel with traditional regulating screws visible on top of the movement, internal bevel angles, Geneva stripes, 41 jewels and handmade engravings. The movement has a frequency of 18,000 vph, with a 3-day power reserve. Limited to 50 pieces. Priced at US$148,000.00
