Longines Avigation BigEye Chronograph (2017)

Longines has an important role in making chronographe for aviation since the early 20th century. The Charles Lindbergh or WWII pilot watches; or from the first monopusher to the first flyback; these are all significant achievements by Longines. The Avigation BigEye has been modelled after an early-1970s watch made for military aviators. The oversized minute counter, explaining its name “BigEye”. Made in stainless steel, at 41mm. Movement is the Longines Calibre L688 which is based on the 7750 with heavy modifications. Automatic winding with column wheel, power reserve at 54hours. Jaeger LeCoultre Grand Reverso Ultra Thin (2014)

Jaeger LeCoultre Grand Reverso Ultra Thin Tribute to 1931 Chocolate was released in 2014.  The watch is housed in a 18K pink gold case with a brown dial that was inspired by an early Reverso from Jaeger-LeCoultre.  Another unique feature is a burgundy cordovan strap from Argentinian polo boot maker Casa Fagiliano – Grand Reverso size comes in at 46.8mm x 27.4mm and only 7.3mm thick.  On the movement; it uses calibre 822/2, beats at 3Hz, 19 jewels, 45-hour power reserve.  Priced at 12,000 Euro
