To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the caliber 9S, Grand Seiko has released the Blue Ceramic Hi-Beat GMT Limited Edition. Case is in Seiko’s High Intensity titanium, treated with an anodic oxidation process that turns it blue in 46.4mm. Automatic Hi-Beat movement caliber 9S86with Grand Seiko “Special” standard of a precision of +4 to -2 seconds per day. Power reserve at 55hours. Limited to 350pcs. Priced at US$14,800.00

this is the first Submersible using a ceramic case. 47mm black ceramic case in sandblasted finish, this material has a hardness of 1200HV, about about 5x that of stainless steel.
