The movement is an extensive development by Le Cercle des Horlogers. Technically complicated but also keeping its elegance, emphasizing Hermès’s rich equestrian heritage, the watch dial and movement details nod to the Duc Attelé carriage, marrying technical mastery with thematic elegance. The heart at 6 o’clock is formed by an intersection of the two skulls on the dial : framing a red gem in the center of the hidden tourbillon cage. Visible only when the slider of the repeater is activated, the chimes of the minute repeater carillon sound while another mechanism simultaneously separates the two skulls to reveal the tourbillon.
