Baume & Mercier Clifton Club Burt Munro Tribute Limited Edition (2018)

The automatic mechanical chronograph movement is based on a Valjoux 7750 modified by La Joux-Perret, 48 hr power reserve. Inspired by the spirit of Burt Munro – For 25 years in Invercargill at the south end of New Zealand, Burt Munro (1899-1978) has been working on increasing the speed of his motorcycle, a 1920 Indian. He dreams of taking it to the Bonneville Salt Flats to see how fast it will go. By the early 1960s, heart disease threatens his life, so he mortgages his house and takes a boat to Los Angeles, buys an old car, builds a makeshift trailer, gets the Indian through customs, and heads for Utah. Despite many set backs, Munro finally sets the land speed world record at Utah’s Bonneville Salt Flats in 1967. Stainless steel case in 44mm. Limited to 1967 pieces. Priced at USD 3,750.00

H Moser Endeavour Concept perpetual calendar (2017)

The large aperture at 3 o’clock is the date. The up/down at 9 o’clock is a power reserve. The small arrow hand pointing to an hour is the month. To keep the dial clean, the watch doesn’t tell you the day of the week. However, being a perpetual calendar, it must be able to see the the leap year indicator on the watch and to maintain the spirit of keeping the watch clean and elegant, the leap year indication is hidden away on movement side of the watch. The watch is adjusted via simply only thru the crown, and it can be adjusted forward or backward (unlike many other perpetual on the market which can only be adjusted forward), leap year is adjusted by the corrector on the side of the case at 9 o’clock. The date indicator is a large date display with two discs overlapping each other; and it is an instantaneous jumping display. (Currently showing October 4th) This Concept is limited to only 10pc, platinum case and priced at 69,000CHF
