The movement is an extensive development by Le Cercle des Horlogers. Technically complicated but also keeping its elegance, emphasizing Hermès’s rich equestrian heritage, the watch dial and movement details nod to the Duc Attelé carriage, marrying technical mastery with thematic elegance. And if you take a deeper look at the movement construction, you can see it mimic a horse and carriage, and when the minute repeater is activated, the horse will move.

Arnold & Son Nebula 2016 is a perfect example of watchmaking architecture, a new manual winding movement developed and designed to be as opened as possible. The design and structure of the movement let you look into the heart of this in-house caliber. The designer, my good friend Sébastien Chaulmontet, created an almost perfect mirror-like symmetry, blending mechanical engineering and art. Hours are indicated by 12 satellite indices / peripheral and axial rotation (patent pending), the arrow on the left gives the fixed indication.
