Inspired by the 1969 reference BA145.022, this version is in 18k moonshine gold in 42mm. Sapphire crystal front and back, burgundy ceramic bezel with tachymeter scale. Manual winding chronograph Calibre Omega 3861, in-house, Master Chronometer certified; featuring mostly identical 1861 layout with the exception of an Co-axial escapement, hacking seconds, accuracy to 0+5 seconds per day and resistance to magnetism of up to 15,000 gauss. The Avigation BigEye has been modelled after an early-1970s watch made for military aviators. The oversized minute counter, explaining its name “BigEye”. Made in stainless steel, at 41mm.
