BOVET 1822 RÉCITAL 20 ASTÉRIUM (2023). White Gold and Red Gold case, 46mm diameter, 18.3mm thickness, leather strap with pin buckle, water resistance up to 30 meters. Manual-winding mechanical movement with a 240-hour power reserve. Functions include hours, minutes, seconds, date, day, month, power reserve indicator, retrograde minutes, tourbillon, equation of time, and a special escapement. Annual calendar tracking summer and winter equinox. Reference: R20N005/1/PU. Launched in October 2022, part of the Dimier collection, limited to 1 piece. The case is in Platinum / Titanium 41mm. Movement is automatic Caliber 5133, the thickness of this movement is at 2.89mm which is a world record of the thickness. Two patents are new to this watch – No: 1 the end of the month cam is integrated to the day of the month wheel, standing now at the same level as the wheel. No2: the end of the month cam is integrated to the month wheel, standing now at the same level as the wheel, this allows to have the movement with less thickness. Power reserve at 40hours. Longines has an important role in making chronographe for aviation since the early 20th century. The Charles Lindbergh or WWII pilot watches; or from the first monopusher to the first flyback; these are all significant achievements by Longines. The Avigation BigEye has been modelled after an early-1970s watch made for military aviators. The oversized minute counter, explaining its name “BigEye”. Made in stainless steel, at 41mm. Movement is the Longines Calibre L688 which is based on the 7750 with heavy modifications. Automatic winding with column wheel, power reserve at 54hours. Manual wind movement with direct impulse escapement and two escape wheels; German silver and titanium base plate and bridges with decoration by Unryuan studio; gold wheels. Mr Tatsuo Kitamura lacquer artists created the dial lacquer works, another half of the landscape is created by Anita Porchet, one of the greatest enamel artist. Vineyard with rich colors is made with email cloisonne techniques. It shows vineyard on his full beauty, grapes fulfilled in enjoyable colors.
