The original SeaMaster was launched in 1948; 2018 marks the 70th anniversary. There are two special edition launched to celebrate this special occasion. Longines has an important role in making chronographe for aviation since the early 20th century. The Charles Lindbergh or WWII pilot watches; or from the first monopusher to the first flyback; these are all significant achievements by Longines. The Avigation BigEye has been modelled after an early-1970s watch made for military aviators. The oversized minute counter, explaining its name “BigEye”. Made in stainless steel, at 41mm.
