Richard Mille RM 63-02 World Timer Automatic (2016)

new in-house movement and it is with ease to use the world time. This was achieved by removing the need for a pusher when using the time zone function: the grade-5 titanium rotating bezel is actually set on ball bearings, allowing easy adjustment when the wearer is setting a time zone. The rotating bezel also has a wheel connected to the movement which directly manipulates the hour hand, increasing time-setting accuracy and speed. When you’ve set your city to the 12 o’clock position, the watch will have the 23 cities set in their time zones referenced against your home city. 50 hours power reserve; grade 5 titanium case in 47mm. Priced at US$145,000.00

Longines ULTRA-CHRON (2022)

This is a tribute to the 1968 ULTRA-CHRON Diver, the first dive watch to be equipped with a high-frequency movement at the time. This re-edition model has a stainless steel case in 43mm. Automatic calibre L836.6, a high-frequency “in house” movement. “high-frequency” is defined when the balance wheel oscillates at 36,000 beats per hour (10 beats every second) or higher. LONGINES pioneered in 1914 (to time 1/10th of a second) and 1916 (to time 1/100th of a second), improved precise timekeeping. From 1959 onwards, LONGINES made use of the high-beat-movements to increase the accuracy of its watches. Power reserve is 52 hrs Priced at CHF3,500

Chopard Alpine Eagle Cadence 8Hz (2021)

Case is in 41mm diameter x 9.75mm height; grade 5 titanium with brushed and polished decorations. The watch wears much smaller than the typical 41mm, in fact it feels more like a 40 or even 39mm. Because of the titanium material, it’s also very light, perhaps 50% (my perception) lighter than the Lucent steel brothers. Automatic calibre 01.12-C has 210 components, that beats at an amazing 8Hz frequency or 57,600 BPH. Movement is chronometer-certified by COSC. Power reserve is 60hrs Limited to 250pcs Priced at 19,000CHF
