Very Fine Adjusted
What does V.F.A. stand for in Grand Seiko lingo?
The Grand Seiko “Very Fine Adjusted” standard was first introduced in 1969, achieving a mean daily rate of ±2spd. These V.F.A. watches were also guaranteed to be accurate to within one minute per month for the first two years of ownership. In 2018, as part of the 20th anniversary of the 9S caliber, Grand Seiko released a 20pc LE VFA model (SBGH265) with an accuracy rating of +3/-1 spd.
