Ferdinand Berthoud Chronometer Regulator (2018)

In 2016, their Chronometer FB1 took the GPHG “Aiguille d’or” top prize. This year the FB1R utilizes a Regulator display. A steel version was introduced in January; at BaselWorld; we see another case material : Bronze. Bronze case was made to commemorate two ships that sailed in 1785; carrying 5 Ferdinand Berthoud marine Chronometer; L’Astrolabe and La Boussole. Bronze case at 44mm. Hand winding Caliber FB-T.FC, fusee and chain constant force with 3Hz Tourbillon, 53 hours power reserve. Only 5 pieces will be made each with difference treatments to the bronze case.
