This very first version of the “1740” embodies his personal vision of Fine Watchmaking. The “1740” encapsulates David’s talent, his ideas and his artistic and technical sensitivity. Innovative a piece, it combines 3 patents and 8 design registrations. Named “1740” in memory of the year when the presence of a watchmaker was notified for the first time ever in the Vallée de Joux, this timepiece embodies the maxim “The Heart and the Spirit”. Stainless steel case in 43.5mm, the watch features a manual winding 30 degree inclined tourbillon, big centre seconds hand, power reserve indicator at 12 o’clock. The movement is made of 287 components, power reserve at 55 hours. Limited to 8 pieces only. Priced at 216,800.00CHF
