WatchProfessor’s take: Genus watches took the market by surprise when they first launched the Genus GNS1.2WG watch and immediately won the GPHG 2019 winner of the Mechanical Exception Watch Prize. It’s mechanical creativity is refreshing to see, and for such young brand to have this recognition is impressive. We have a good variety of incredible designs in the industry, but we need more creators that can add to the mechanical ingenuity.
