Rado Captain Cook High Tech Plasma Ceramic – ref R32127162 (2021). Named after the British explorer, it was originally released in 1962, this watch is the perfect blend of vintage and new material. Although Rado had already used ceramic for the bezel of its signature dive watch, it is the first time that ceramic is applied to the entire Captain Cook. Monobloc construction case, plasma high-tech ceramic in 43mm. Plasma ceramic is forged in an oven at 20,000°C transform finished white ceramic into a material with a metallic shine, retaining its essential properties: lightness, hardness, and comfort. Bezel is Gold PVD coated stainless steel with insert made of polished ceramic. Dial in black-tinted sapphire crystal.
