WatchProfessor’s take : Longines has been producing some awesome re-editions since the Heritage line was introduced in 2014. The Majetek name refers to the Czech Pilot watch that Longines produced back in 1920s. These watches have engraving “Majetek Vojenske Spravy” on the case back, it means the watch belongs to the military – and collectors simply call this Majetek. In fact, in 2014, a version of the Majetek was introduced but I much more prefer this 2023 edition simply because of the lack of a date display – just like the original. If you have a chance to handle the watch, the quality is simply top notch and the modern silicon hairspring means the watch can withstand more magnetism than ever before. Price / Value on this is just very attractive, if you are looking for a watch with strong aviation heritage, this is one of my top choice!
