Moritz Grossmann Backpage Tremblage 200th Anniversary Edition (2026)
Case is 41mm with a thickness of 11.35mm, fully polished platinum, sapphire crystal front and caseback, water resistant to 30m. Dial is German silver spanning 11 to 5 o’clock with a chapter ring decorated in tremblage engraving – a historical hand-engraving technique requiring years of mastery, executed using burins on a German silver base with uniform incisions that, if too deep, result in the dial being scrapped entirely – galvanised in navy blue, with applied gold markers and Arabic numeral 12, recessed circular-brushed small seconds ring at 6 o’clock, heat-annealed blue hands, and the movement fully exposed at centre revealing the hand-engraved balance cock with anniversary 1826 engraving, gold-plated gear trains, raised gold chatons with white sapphire jewels, three-band snailing on the ratchet wheel, and crisp polished bevels throughout. Movement is the in-house calibre 107.0, manual winding, a mirror-reversed architecture of the calibre 100.1 with all finishing elements brought dial-side, Grossmann balance with 4 inertia screws and 2 poising screws, lever escapement, 18,000vph. Power reserve is 42hrs. Limited to 12pcs. Priced at €71,000
